Community Education should act as a catalyst, assisting communities to both envision and create learning systems in such areas as educational, social, economic, physical and recreational

Community Recreation
Community Recreation is here to help our residents and visitors enjoy activities that enhance their leisure time. We are a Joint Powers organization created in 1996 between the City of Red Wing and the Red Wing School District. Community Rec is overseen by a Joint Powers board comprised of members from City Council, School Board and staff. The board meets monthly to oversee programs, policies, procedures, and fees.
